Administration
The Generic Seractil dosage may vary depending on the severity of the disorder. During chronic use, a lowest maintenance dose should be considered. Dexibuprofen dosage of 600 to 900 mg daily, divided in up to three single doses has been recommended.
Patients with mild to moderate pain should start a single doses of 200 mg dexibuprofen and daily doses of 600 mg dexibuprofen. It should not be more than 400 mg dexibuprofen.
In acute conditions or exacerbations, the Generic Seractil dose provisionally may be increased up to 1200 mg per day. The maximum daily dose is 1200 mg.
To treat dysmenorrhoea the recommended daily dose is 600 to 900 mg dexibuprofen, divided in up to three single doses. Thus the single dose of 300 mg has been recommended.
Elderly patients need a lower dosage. The doctor may raise the dosage amount after watching their response to it. Patients with mild to moderate hepatic dysfunction or renal function should start with a lower doses and be closely monitored. These tablets can be taken without regard to a meal.
Generic Seractil Side Effects
The most ordinary adverse effects caused by dexibuprofen are gastrointestinal in nature which may show symptoms such as dyspepsia, diarrhoea, vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain, gastrointestinal ulcers and bleeding, ulcerative stomatitis. Some of its adverse effects are related to skin and hypersensitivity reaction, Central nervous system (headache, insomnia, visual disturbances
